President's Message 2023

Hey Y’ALL! Happy New Year! Guess what time it is? It’s SERSHA Conference time. SERSHA is READY to serve the “TEA,” the SERSHA Conference Tea, that is. SERSHA invites all of our Members, Housing Partners, Housing Authorities, Landlords, Owners, Board Officials, and Commissioners to the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC where you will be provided with the tools, knowledge, and expertise needed to “Serve Your Families and Constituents Efficiently and Effectively in our Housing Programs.”

SERSHA’s 2023 Spring Conference will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023, through Thursday, March 9, 2023. Please remember to visit our website at www.sersha.org to register and to get hotel reservation information. The deadline to register is Monday, February 6, 2023.

SERSHA Conferences consist of knowledgeable action-packed seminars with industry-experienced facilitators. Additionally, SERSHA Conferences provide an opportunity to learn, meet, greet, network, and share ideas/concerns as it relates to the programs administered under Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The two-day training session will consist of Homeownership Training, educating attendees on the fundamentals and policies needed to effectively run, manage, and implement the HCV Homeownership Program. SERSHA will also offer a twoday Section 8 Inspector and Landlord Training instructed by Mr. Randy Allen, which will provide attendees with updates and knowledge on how to maneuver and conduct inspections post-pandemic. We have set the stage for a very informative, exciting, and memorable conference, we are sure you will love.
