The wrap dress - shot to fashion icon status in the 70’s but is a timeless wardrobe staple. To give this piece a more retro flair, look for ruffled sleeves or a funkier pattern.
Anything tie-dye - tie-dye did not originate in the 70’s but it is definitely goes hand and hand with that time period. Tie-dye clothing can be found in several styles and variations. You couldn't go wrong with this selection back then and that still remains to be true to this day.
Peasant blouses - peasant blouses were all the rave in the 70’s and can still be found today in many department stores. To give this piece a more retro flair, go all out with your accessories (ie. big jewelry, oversized glasses, headband, etc.).
Bell bottoms - Need we say more?!? Bell bottoms like tie-dye are one of the decades most defining pieces. Bell bottoms can be dressed up with a blouse (hello, Charlie’s Angels) or down with a t-shirt (think that 70’s show).
