To Whom It May Concern:

This communication serves as an official notice from South East Regional Section “8” Housing Association, Inc. (SERSHA) relating to our upcoming event planned for September 21, 2020 through September 25, 2020. The impact of COVID19 continues to plaque our states and our nation as a whole. Many of our Housing and Urban Development Offices and Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) remain closed. Current data from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and from the Department of Health and Human Services show that several of the association’s states are in the nation’s record high category for COVID19 cases.

Upon the recommendation of the CDC and the governors of several of our states who have transitioned back to Phase I, SERSHA’s Board has agreed to cancel the Summer Event for 2020. The safety and the well-being of our members and our presenters are our top priority.

Please stay safe and take the recommended precautions to lessen the risk of being exposed to this global phenomenon, Coronavirus.
